Nigerian forward Peter Olayinka has completed a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Wehda, joining the Red Giants as a free agent on a two-year contract after leaving Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia.

The 30-year-old winger spent the first half of 2026 without a club before joining APOEL in February on a short-term contract until the end of the season. He made 14 league appearances and scored two goals for the Cypriot side.

Olayinka is valued at €2.5 million. The Nigerian, who primarily operates as a left winger, has built an extensive career across Europe, with previous spells at Bylis, Yenicami, Skënderbeu, Gent, Dukla Prague, Zulte Waregem, Slavia Prague, Red Star Belgrade and APOEL Nicosia.

Olayinka enjoyed his most productive spell at Slavia Prague, where he made 115 appearances and scored 33 goals, while he also recorded 46 appearances and 14 goals during his time with Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade. Across his professional career, he has accumulated more than 360 appearances, with over 100 goals and 60 assists.

The move to Al Wehda is a permanent free transfer, with Olayinka joining after his contract with APOEL expired. Reports from Saudi Arabia indicate that he has signed a two-year contract with the club, taking his career into a new chapter in the Saudi Pro League.

The minutes slip by. The clock seems to tick louder. A quiet sense of guilt begins to creep in, but the scrolling continues. For many university students, this cycle is all too familiar , an endless tug-of-war between looming deadlines and the irresistible distractions of the digital world. You're not lazy. You're human. Procrastination isn't a willpower deficit or a time-management glitch, it's an emotional rescue mission gone sideways. Modern psychology, led by researchers like Timothy Pychyl and Fuschia Sirois, frames it clearly: procrastinati...
