In club football, the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup will be held in Tshwane, South Africa, on 8 November 2026, featuring Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns against Confederation Cup holders USM Alger.

CAF has also confirmed hosts for its youth competitions. Ghana will stage the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations in February and March 2027, while Morocco will host the Under-17 edition in April and May. Egypt has been selected to host the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, which will serve as the qualifying tournament for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Additionally, Morocco will host the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations from 12 to 21 October 2026, with Senegal set to stage the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in November. CAF is also studying the possibility of launching a new U-17 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations next year.
