Victor Osimhen delivered a match-winning performance as he scored a brace to help Galatasaray secure the 2025/26 Turkish Süper Lig title with a 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
The Super Eagles striker netted twice in the second half to complete a comeback after Galatasaray had trailed 2-1. His goals in the 66th and 71st minutes turned the match around and secured the league crown in front of their home fans.
Antalyaspor had taken a shock lead just before half-time through Soner Dikmen (45th minute). Mario Lemina equalised for Galatasaray in the 56th minute, but Antalyaspor regained the lead with a brilliant free-kick in the 62nd minute. That was when Osimhen took over.
Despite playing with a protective hand brace and face mask following his recent arm injury, Osimhen showed determination and a warrior spirit. His brace took his goal tally for the season even higher and earned him widespread praise as the hero of the night.
Kaan Ayhan added a stoppage-time fourth goal in the 95th minute to seal the victory and spark wild celebrations as Galatasaray claimed their fourth consecutive league title and record their 26th trophy in club history.
