Ondo APC Chiefs Hail Adegbonmire’s Grassroots Touch Ahead of Primaries

By Awojobi Khadijat

Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo Central Senatorial District have formally rallied behind Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire ahead of the party’s primaries, praising his three-year record as a benchmark for quality legislative performance and grassroots empowerment.

The endorsement emerged during separate gatherings in Ondo town and Akure, where leaders highlighted the senator’s recent "renewed hope mega empowerment programme," which has distributed hundreds of working tools including tricycles, sewing machines, deep freezers, and generators across the district.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting, Alhaji Olawoye, a party leader in the senatorial zone, described the senator’s performance as the kind of representation the APC should celebrate. Senator Adegbonmire noted, “The cash incentive is for artisans and widows to put back into their businesses. That is the slogan of the president. I am happy to continue to support Mr. President(Bola Ahmed Tinubu) because he is doing very well.”

Former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Lola Fagbemi, added that the APC needs more leaders who positively affect ordinary people. The coordinated endorsement positions Adegbonmire as a formidable candidate ahead of the primaries.

The minutes slip by. The clock seems to tick louder. A quiet sense of guilt begins to creep in, but the scrolling continues. For many university students, this cycle is all too familiar , an endless tug-of-war between looming deadlines and the irresistible distractions of the digital world. You're not lazy. You're human. Procrastination isn't a willpower deficit or a time-management glitch, it's an emotional rescue mission gone sideways. Modern psychology, led by researchers like Timothy Pychyl and Fuschia Sirois, frames it clearly: procrastinati...
