Lagos State Government Commends LASUSTECH Over Successful Accreditation Exercise

The Lagos State Government  commends the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu,  after the institution secured full accreditation for 13 academic programmes, with one additional programme receiving interim accreditation status.

The commendation was contained in an official statement released by the Ministry of Tertiary Education.The government praised the university for its commitment to academic excellence, its modern facilities, and the hard work of both its teaching and administrative staff.

The Ministry noted that the accreditation result strengthens LASUSTECH's reputation as a top institution for science and technology education in Nigeria. It added that the university continues to play an important role in driving innovation and developing skilled manpower for Lagos State and the country at large.

The government expressed its confidence in the university's future and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting LASUSTECH in its mission to provide quality education at the highest level.

LASUSTECH, LIRS partners to Boost Tax Literacy Among Staff

By Okenu Favour  Lagos State University of Science and Technology in collaboration with Lagos State Internal Revenue Service partners to boost tax literacy among all university staff. The event will hold at the 500 seater auditorium, Ikorodu campus on the 12th of March 2026.  In a statement issued by the Department of Information and Public Relations, LASUSTECH, all staff were advised to make attendance of the programme a point of duty. "This important session will provide staff with valuable insights into the provisions of the new law and its impact on the employees of this university" he explained.
