Gridlock hits Ikorodu-Sagamu on Tuesday evening as pedestrians streamed through the road in large numbers, alongside commuters and a fleet of vehicles on the road ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Adenuga Toheeb reporting from Lasustech second gate, stated that the road became heavily occupied at about past 6 p.m., experienced intense movement of travelers heading to different destinations for the Sallah festivities, movement of vehicles and pedestrians struggled through the congestion as many rushed to complete last-minute preparations before the celebration.
As at the time of reporting this news,business activities around Second Gate equally increased as salons recorded high patronage while tailoring shops remained busy with customers picking up or adjusting their festive clothes.
In second gate neighborhood,despite the busy activities, some parts of the neighborhood appeared less crowded as some residents already travelled to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir with their families outside and within the state.
