Tragedy in Ondo as Man Kills Three Siblings

Residents of Okitipupa in Ondo State have been left in shock and mourning after a tragic incident in which a 28-year-old man, identified as Femi Agbeye, allegedly killed his three younger siblings with a machete.
The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, threw the community into panic as neighbours gathered to grieve with the family over the heartbreaking loss.

According to reports, the father of the suspect raised the alarm after discovering that his son had attacked the children in his absence, leading to their deaths.
The victims were identified as Bose Agbeye, aged 20, Dupe Agbeye, aged 7, and Blessing Agbeye, aged 5.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, Abayomi Jimoh, said officers were immediately deployed to the scene after receiving the report.
He noted that the victims were found lifeless and their bodies were later taken to the State Specialist Hospital morgue in Okitipupa for preservation and autopsy.

The police also confirmed that the suspect was arrested on the same day and will be charged to court after investigations are concluded.
Reacting to the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Adebowale Lawal, condemned the act, describing it as disturbing and unacceptable.
He assured the public that justice will be served and urged residents to remain calm while cooperating with security agencies as investigations continue.

The tragic incident has left many in the community deeply saddened, with residents struggling to come to terms with the loss of three young lives.

LASUSTECH, LIRS partners to Boost Tax Literacy Among Staff
