Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, a Badagry-born politician, declares his bid to contest in the Lagos State governorship election in 2027. He unveiled his vision while rallying grassroots support for the re-election of the current President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Addressing the crowd, Ajose described Tinubu as a leader of uncommon courage and rare foresight. He praised his administration with economic reforms, infrastructure developments, social programmes, and key policies targeted at youths and small businesses.
“We have absolute confidence in his leadership and we are fully committed to mobilising massive grassroots support for his re-election in 2027,” he declared.
Beyond the presidential campaign, Ajose expressed his aspiration to succeed Babajide Sanwo-Olu as governor. He said his focus would be on consolidating Lagos’s developmental strides while ensuring balanced growth across all divisions of the state.
The event, held at the Nigeria Police College Ikeja, attracted top party figures, community stakeholders, royal fathers, youth groups, and market leaders as they reaffirm loyalty to the City Boy Movement and the Renewed Hope agenda.
