Fulham midfielder and Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi has received a double nomination for the Premier League’s Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards for March 2026, recognising his outstanding form during the month.
Iwobi’s influential performances, particularly his brilliant long-range strike against Tottenham Hotspur on March 1, have earned him a place on both shortlists. The goal, a composed side-footed effort in the 34th minute that doubled Fulham’s lead in a 2-1 victory, has been shortlisted for Goal of the Month and marks his fourth league goal of the 2025/26 season.
The Nigerian international has been in excellent form under manager Marco Silva, contributing three assists alongside his goals in 23 Premier League appearances this term. His versatility and consistency have made him a key figure for the Cottagers.
Iwobi faces stiff competition from Bruno Fernandes, David Raya, James Garner, Morgan Gibbs-White, Anthony Gordon and Danny Welbeck. Fans can vote online, with winners to be announced on March 30.
As Iwobi balances international duty with club form, this double nomination highlights his growing reputation and consistent excellence in the Premier League.
