Fulham set to Secure Permanent Deal for Super Eagles Winger

Fulham are set to secure permanent signing of Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan, with reports indicating that the Premier League club has informed the Rossoneri of their intention to exercise the purchase option included in his 2025/26 season loan agreement.

Fulham's management views Chukwueze as a long-term addition to their attacking lineup, following his revival in form since joining last summer. The deal, expected to be finalized in the 2026 summer transfer window, is valued at a fixed fee of €24 million, with potential add-ons pushing the total up to €28 million in performance-related bonuses.

Chukwueze's performances have been instrumental in convincing Fulham to commit permanently. Despite an initial slow adaptation and minor injury setbacks, the 26-year-old has contributed directly to goals, registering 3 goals and 4 assists in approximately 17 Premier League appearances.

The presence of Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey has provided a familiar cultural and linguistic comfort zone in London, helping him settle quickly off the pitch. This sense of belonging has translated into greater on-field confidence, allowing Chukwueze to express his talents freely and become a reliable creative force for the Cottagers.

The permanent move marks a significant step for Chukwueze's career, offering stability in the Premier League after his loan proved mutually beneficial. For Fulham, securing the winger long-term strengthens their squad depth and attacking options, while AC Milan benefit financially from a deal that revives a player they once signed with high expectations.
