Nike Unveils New Super Eagles Jerseys

By Irikefe Oghenetega Victor

Global sportswear giant Nike has officially unveiled the new home and away jerseys for Nigeria's Super Eagles for the 2026 cycle, with the designs set to debut during the upcoming four-nation invitational tournament in Antalya, Turkey.

The announcement, made via the team's official social media channels including X on March 23, 2026, has sparked widespread reactions among fans, blending praise for the bold aesthetics with some disappointment amid the national team's recent failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The unveiling comes as the Super Eagles, under French coach Éric Chelle, prepare for crucial friendlies in the Antalya-based tournament, originally planned for Jordan but relocated to Turkey due to regional security concerns in the Middle East.

Nigeria's squad is expected to converge in Antalya starting Tuesday, March 24, 2026, with their first match against Iran on Friday, March 27 (kick-off around 4pm local time), followed by a clash with Jordan on Tuesday, March 31 (8pm local time). Costa Rica completes the four-team lineup, facing Jordan in the other fixtures.

Priced at £109.99 for the adult versions and £84.99 for kids' sizes, the kits are now available through Nike's official channels and select retailers. The launch provides a timely boost of optimism for Nigerian football fans, as the team uses these international outings to regain momentum and test new talents ahead of future qualifying campaigns.

Instead, you’re rearranging your playlist to create the “perfect” study vibe, finally replying to that group chat message from last week, or falling down an unexpected rabbit hole about why ancient Roman aqueducts were such a brilliant engineering feat. The minutes slip by. The clock seems to tick louder. A quiet sense of guilt begins to creep in, but the scrolling continues. For many university students, this cycle is all too familiar , an endless tug-of-war between looming deadlines and the irresistible distractions of the digital world. You're not lazy. You're human. Procrastination isn't a willpower deficit or a time-management glitch, it's an emotional rescue mission gone sideways. Modern psychology, led by researchers like Timothy Pychyl and Fuschia Sirois, frames it clearly: procrastinati...
